We Shared a Laugh Today

Robbie wanted to have his friend over for the afternoon, normally I like it if I have a little warning, so if something needs to be tidied up, I have a bit of time to do it. My first reaction was "Oh no, the house is a mess" Robbie says to me, "He doesn't care" and of course I said "Well, I do."

Robbie is trying to convince me not to worry about it and informs me. Mom, THEIR house is a lot worse then this." I said "I don't care about their house, I care about mine, besides that's not a nice thing to say."

Still trying to get me to relent he said "Hey, let me tell you about the first time I went over to his house. We went in the front door and I started to take my shoes off and his mother says to me "oh don't bother, your socks will get dirty."

We all looked at each other and busted out laughing. Of course I had to let him go and pick him up after that, how can I deny it, it's probably a good thing for him to have his friends around him right now. See, and I said I didn't feel like blogging.

I am still going to finish my award blog post soon, but I guess that is the part I am not feeling like doing, sorry Zuleika [grin, giggle, teehee, I love her name!]
